THE STUDENT'S HANDBOOK

Promotion Procedure

Teachers expect students to attend regularly, be diligent and attentive, conform to a reasonable standard of deportment and complete all assignments. Students who pay attention in class, work sincerely and complete assignments will be considered for promotion.

All subjects carry the same importance when consideration is made for promotion.

Failing grades result from consistently poor test results and/or incomplete assignments. Teachers administer tests and balance their evaluation on day-to-day classroom performance and task commitment. Attitude and Effort are important.

The school has a procedure for promotion and a copy may be obtained upon request.

The Ministry regulates the compilation of an Ontario Student Record Card (O.S.R.). The OSR contains copies of student achievement (Report Cards) and other pertinent documentation considered relevant to the child. As a parent you are welcome, upon notification, to view these records.
