The Tobacco Belt League consisted of Simcoe, Hagersville, Caledonia and Dunnville.
The winner advanced to O.B.A.A. competition against Ingersoll Cheesers.

"Russ Oatman's bridling Red Sox are today at the top of the Haldimand Tobacco Belt loop, with every prospect that the group will really go places in O.B.A.A. competition this year."

From the 19 Aug 1937 Simcoe Reformer:
"Westcott hurls Simcoe to 5-2 win -- Red Sox even series with Hagersville."

From the 23 Aug 1937 Simcoe Reformer:
"Sox come from behind, tie score in sixth andwin 5-3 -- Lefler hurls five hitter .... receives good support."

From the 30 Aug 1937 Simcoe Reformer:
"Sox shut out Villians to win the Tobacco Belt League title ... Mighty hurling by Leo Lefler coupled with brilliant fielding of teammates tells story."

From the 9 Sep 1937 Simcoe Reformer:
"Cheesers belt two Simcoe twirlers for 19 safeties ... ragged fielding marks first game of playdowns as Sox beaten 13-6."

From the 14 Sep 1937 Simcoe Reformer:
"Cheesers win 8-3 ... Baseball curtain drops as Cheeses wallop Sox ... Aaron unable to hold Ingersoll in second game of playdown series."
