From Helen via Shirley: Jean Agnes Miller, born 25 Jun 1927
in Simcoe, elder of two daughters born to John James Miller
and Helen Esther Healey. She graduated SHS, then MacDonald
Hall, University of Guelph in Home Economics, 1947.

Jean married Lloyd A. Leask, 21 Aug 1948 in Simcoe. She was
active in the C.O.E., I.O.D.E., Simcoe Kinettes, Simcoe Curling Club and the Norfolk General Hospital volunteer association.

Jean and Lloyd lived in Simcoe all of their married life, wintering many years at Maple Leaf Estates, Port Charlotte, Florida.

Jean,76, lost a courageous battle with cancer dying 31 Dec 2003,
survived by her husband, two children, three grandchildren and
sister, all of Norfolk County.
