Edwin Woodward (1851-1927) was 1912 Reeve of South Walsingham Township and son of Paul Woodward of St. Williams. Edwin (sometimes listed as Edward in historical records) and his wife Annie (1849-1929) lived  for a time in West Vancouver, British Columbia, where they were the first keepers of Point Atkinson lighthouse.
They returned to St. Williams in 1878 and succeeded to his father’s homestead farm, Lot 23 Concession 1, South Walsingham, south of St. Williams. Edwin was also the rural mail carrier for the area. Edwin and Annie are buried together in Johnson Cemetery, St. Williams.
