This is: Harry Holmes
Identified 27 Nov 2009 by Bruce & Flo Payne
Confirmed 25 May 2013 by Donna Holmes Bonaccorso

From Donna: Harold James Holmes (my great uncle) was born
18 Jul 1895, son of Miles Holmes and Charlotte Dedrick. After his father's 1915 death, he took over care of his legally blind mother in their Main Street home. He worked for Grand Truck Rail before working for American Can. Harry didn't marry. He was a 50 year member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge. Predeceased by all six siblings, he died 9 May 1979 in Simcoe and is buried in Oakwood Cemetery. (His mother was a daughter of Samuel Dedrick, granddaughter of Cornelius Dedrick, great-granddaughter of Long Point setttler Lucas Dedrick.)

[Compiler's Comment: Before receiving Donna's email, we errorously identified this person as Harry O. Holmes of Langton.]
