A lightly edited page 4 article from the 5 May 1910 issue of the Waterford Star newspaper.
The same obituary in the Lynnville column on page 2 of the 5 May 1910 Simcoe Reformer, but is difficult to read.

Obituary.

Mrs. Lewis VanEvery Sr. of Lynnville, departed this life on Friday, 22 Apr 1910, after a lingering illness of nearly five years, during a large share of which time she endured great suffering. The end, however, came every peacefully and painlessly, for
"We thought her dying when she slept,
            And sleeping when she died."

The funeral was conducted on Sunday, 24 Apr 1910 by the pastor, Rev. A. W. Shepperson, in the Methodist church and was largely attended. The family have the sympathy of all, for many realize what "Mother's" going home means to those left behind.
