Died in Ohio

John Wesley Green died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Hoyt Hulbert in Thompson, Ohio, on Thursday, 17 Mar 1924, aged 86 years.

He was a son of the late James Loder Green, founder of the foundry in this place. This business was afterwards conducted by Nelson and Wesley Green under the firm name of Green Bros. and they did extensive business for many years.

Wesley married Mary Sophia Banker of Rochester, N.Y., who predeceased him about 30 years ago. The family consisted of: 
Bert and Harry Green of Denver, Colorado,
Robert of Waterford,
Mrs. Geo. Rowe (Bessie) of Johnson City, N.Y.,
Mrs. Hulbert (Lucy) and Fred of Thompson, Ohio.

The remains were accompanied here by Mrs. Hulbert and Fred. 
Also in attendance at the funeral:
Mr. Glen Green and Mr. and Mrs. C. K. Green of Hamilton,
Dr. LeRoy Green of Panama, N.Y., and
Wallace Green of Teeterville.

A service was held in the Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. H. Wilkins. A number of old friends of the family were in attendance. Interment took place in the family plot in Greenwood Cemetery.
