Etc. --  Nelson R. Butcher to Hague
Introduction | Source Documents | Other Sources | Photocopies | Back
A lightly edited page 1 article from the 19 May 1910 issue of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

This portrait will be recognized by many Norfolk residents. In last week's issue, a paragraph was devoted to the big task that Mr. Butcher has before him, as chief of the British reporting staff at the Peace Hague Tribunal.

Mr. Butcher, no doubt, little thought when he left Walsingham years ago that in time he would placed in charge of the reporting of the greatest case the world has ever known by the British, Canadian and Newfoundland Governments.

He has a big staff under him, of the very best men for the work. He has promised from time to time to send a letter to the Reformer describing the case.
