A lightly edited partial transcription the Items of Local Interest column on page 7 of the 8 Jul 1920 issue of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

Miss Clara Price arrived home on Tuesday after a few days under canvas, chaperoning a bunch of Simcoe "Camp Fire Girls" at Camp "Litakni," two miles east of Port Dover, on the Lake Shore Road.

Miss Eleanor McCool, accompanied by her niece, Miss Margaret Abbott of Port Rowan, motored down on Tuesday to take over the reins of power from Miss Price.

Sunday afternoon visitors at the camp were: 
Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Price, 
Mr. and Mrs. Geo. W. Brown, 
Mr. Roger Cropp and mother, 
Mr. and Mrs. J. Borland, and 
Mr. and Mrs. J. Waddle.
