Obituary.

The many friends of Mrs. Carl R. Smith regretted very much to hear of her death on Sunday morning, 18 Mar 1906, in her 30th year, at her home in Walpole, after three months illness.

Her maiden name was Eva Misener, and [she] was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew N. Misener of Townsend.

Mrs. Smith has been a consistent member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church for a number of years and sang in its choir, and also in the Tyrrell Baptist church choir for a number of years prior to her marriage.

She leaves a husband and three small children to mourn her demise.

The funeral took place to Mt. Zion church and cemetery on the Tuesday following.

The floral contributions were a beautiful wreath by Tyrrell Lodge O.C.H.C. of which deceased was a member, pillow of hyacinthes by Mrs. P. Burns of Detroit, beautiful bunches of carnations by Mrs. Chas. Smith of Simcoe and Mrs. Leman Lewis of Hamilton. Gone forever with the Lord.
