Mr. John Homeniuk

Mr. John Homeniuk died at his home at Rockford on Thursday morning, June 15 of heart failure, age 65 years. Deceased was a native of Rumania, who brought his family to Canada, settling in Saskatchewan 30 years ago, and came to Townsend Township six years ago.

Those left to mourn their loss are his wife, three sons: 
Harry of Townsend, Mike of Saskatchewan, and Thomas at home; also three daughters, Mrs. English of Winnipeg, Vera of Waterford, and Doris at home.

The funeral service was held at the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Waterford, on Saturday morning, June 17 at 10.30 a.m., Rev. Joseph Balla of Brantford officiating.

Interment was made in Greenwood Cemetery. The pallbearers were Messrs. Max Burdany, Nick Calanchie, 
Alex. Harek, Alex. Petrachuk, Mike Noga and Joseph Rzan.
