Last of Three Houghton Soldier Brothers

The name of Private Lewis E. West of Kinglake appeared in Monday's official casualty lists as having been gassed. Yesterday, however, our Houghton correspondent notified us that the telegram from Ottawa gave him as having died of wounds.

Lewis West is the last of three soldier son of Mr. Abram West of Houghton to give his life. Brothers Arthur and William James were both killed at Vimy Ridge.
